Our Story

Thirty years on the wall.

Thirty years of contemporary art representation. Two physical galleries. One continuing conviction: the artwork holds the room or it doesn’t belong on it.

The galleries

Bainbridge since 1995. Park City since 2018.

JG Art Gallery + Events operates from two locations. Both spaces are built around the same conviction: contemporary art should be encountered, not consumed.

The Bainbridge Island gallery began in 1995 as a small storefront on Winslow Way. The original Roby King Gallery acquired by Jude Grenney expanded across thirty years of representation, exhibition, and collector relationship building. The Park City gallery opened in 2018 as the second location, bringing the same represented roster and the same discipline to a year-round destination community.

Both galleries are owner-operated. Visitors meet the principals on the floor. Acquisitions happen in conversation, not via order form. The Collector Portal handles the records; the relationship handles the rest.

Representation philosophy

Selection in dialogue, not by market signal.

We represent forty-eight artists working across painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and digital practice. Selection is by direct dialogue with the artist. We have walked away from acquirable artists when the studio relationship felt transactional. We have invested years in artists whose markets had not yet caught up.
