JG acquisitions are conversations, not transactions. Here is exactly how the process works from first interest to delivered piece.

The process

Six steps from interest to delivery.

Inquire
Found a piece you want to discuss? Use the inquiry form on the artwork page, or email acquire@jgartgallery.com. Tell us what you’re drawn to. We respond within one business day.
Conversation
For acquisitions above $250, we conduct a brief conversation — phone, video, or in-person. We confirm provenance package, condition at acquisition, framing or installation requirements, shipping logistics, and any questions you have.
Hold
If you want to live with the decision, we place a 7-day hold on the piece. No payment required during the hold. The piece is reserved exclusively for you.
Acquisition
When you’re ready: invoice issued, payment processed (wire, check, ACH, or major card), provenance package finalized.
Delivery
White-glove shipping coordinated through our handlers. Crating, insurance, climate-controlled transit. Installation coordination available for sculpture and large-scale works.
Records
Once acquired, your piece is recorded in your private Collector Portal — provenance documents, condition reports, certificate of authenticity, acquisition history. You retain full access for life.

Financing

Payment plans for established collectors.

For acquisitions above $5,000, payment plans available — three to twelve months, no interest for established collectors. Inquire when you’re ready to acquire.

Shipping & Returns

Fourteen-day inspection period.

All shipping coordinated through specialized art handlers. Crating, insurance, climate-controlled transit. Installation coordination for large works. Fourteen-day inspection period from delivery — if the piece doesn’t hold its room, we coordinate return shipping and process a full refund.
